Jian Zhan, produced in Jianyang District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is a representative of black porcelain, one of the eight famous porcelain in Song Dynasty, and enjoys the reputation of "pearl of porcelain altar". "Jianzhan is to take the red loam with high iron content in Jianyang as the main material, after kneading mud, pulling billet, glaze and so on." It is a national geographic indication product of China.
